[Addition to 6922/15.] Reducing-valves.-The reducing - valve described iu the parent Specification, for use in breathing- apparatus for independent diviog-equipment &c., is modified so that both diaphragms are subjected on their outer sides to the pressure of the enveloping- medium. By this arrangement, the pressure in the breathing - passages is always adjusted to the pressure of the enveloping-medium, for example water. Means are also provided whereby the user can mechanically influence the gas pressure himself. The two diaphragms 23, 24 are separated by a partition 18, on which a valve 28, in series through the pipe 16 with the main reducing-valve 5, i@ arranged ; a lever 27 connects the valve 28 to the diaphragm 24, and a push-member 29 is provided for the operation by hand. The enveloping- medium operates on the diaphragm 24 through the openings 22 and controls the operation of the valve 28. The gas passes out from the opening 21 to the breathing-passages.
