Atmospheric gas burners.-Mixed gas and air issue from, and burn at, the openings 10 in the burner head 9 beneath the plate 13, the resulting combustion products being burned between a perforated flange 15 and an outer flange 14. The plate 13 rests on a flanged cap 11 and supports a hood 18 having a flange 19 projecting below the other flanges. The openings 16 are punched so as to form an irregular surface for the secondary flame.
