10. Braudt, M. Jan. 1. Atmospheric gas burners.-A disk of refractory material i is located centrally beneath the metal reflector b of a gas bracket or like radiator, and above the flame apertures of the atmospheric burner thereof, so that the flames play upon it; wire gauze h is placed in the burner head to prevent lighting back. The burner may be inverted or otherwise, the disk i being in the former case supported by a flange f, and in the latter directly upon the burner head, to which it and the reflector are both secured by a bolt and nut. The metal reflector b may have a cavity for the reception of the disk i.
