Incandescent gas burners.-In order to insulate an inverted gas burner from its pendant, the top of the mixing-chamber is formed of a ring B of heat-insulating material, preferably secured by burring over the top edge C of the mixing-tube A, and an internally-screwed insulating-socket N connects the gas nipple to the gas pendant. An air-shield K is secured on the nipple E between the mixing-chamber, which is screwed on the nipple, and an insulating- washer L, and a hit-and-miss air-regulator I is provided with a locking-screw J engaging a slot in the shield K. The usual combined deflector and globe-holder T is attached by the socket V.
