Incandescent gas burners.-The flared upper part b<2> of an inverted burner tube B is loosely mounted on a flat spiral spring C secured to the mixing- chamber a, and the spring may be protected from the heat of the burner by an asbestos or other refractory washer b<7> arranged between a washer b<5> and a deflector b<6> or another washer. The washer b<5> may bind against the underside of the spring.
