Gas supply.-Relates to acetylene gas burners for motor-car, cycle, and other lamps, and provides means for preventing obstructive deposits in the small gas-controlling apertures. The usual metal mount a is fitted with a thin metal disk c formed with a ring of perforations d near its periphery, and preferably dished as shown. Any solid &c. matter carried over by the gas is arrested by the disk c, and prevented from passing forward to the usual controlling-passage g. The construction shown in Fig. 4 is used where the diameter of the pipe leading from the generator is comparable with the diameter of the disk c.
