Abstract
7649. Johnson, R. T. March 31. Spray carburettors.-The fuel nozzle consists of a right-angled pipe b with spirally-arranged perforations b<1>, the upper end of the pipe being open to the atmosphere through slots d' controlled by a valve d'. The mixing-chamber a has a throttle valve e, and at its lower end an automatic air valve controlled by a dash-pot. The quantity of fuel delivered is regulated by the air valve d<2>.
