Perambulators.-The ends, sides, and wheels of a perambulator are arranged to fold down on the carriage bottom, which is then folded about its centre so that the two end portions enclose the rest of the vehicle. The end portions 1, 2, and side portions 3, 4 are arranged to fold on horizontal hinges, and are held in the open position by hooks 9. The springs 11 fold on hinges 12 and are kept in their open position by springs 14, Fig. 2, hinged to the body bottom, lots being made in the ends of the springs 14 to permit vertical play of the axles. The bottom of the carriage also folds as shown in Fig. 1, so that the wheels are enclosed in the end portions 1, 2.
