Fluid-actuated valves - In a method for producing a proportioned mixture of two gases, one gas is supplied to a chamber 17 through a valve-controlled conduit 20 and a pipe 26, which is provided with a hollow cylindrical valve 25 connected to, and actuated by, a diaphragm 28 mounted in casing 30, an outer chamber 32 formed by the diaphragm communicating with the atmosphere through an opening 33 or with the interior of a furnace through a tube 34 so that the pressure of the gas in the pipe 26 is maintained equal to the pressure in the chamber 32.
