[Class 7 (iii)] In a device for heating air exhaust gases pass through a cylindrical chamber 5 containing an axially arranged pipe 9 through which air flows to a carburetter, the pipe 9 having transverse tubes 10, which are preferably displaced, through which the exhaust gas can pass. The right hand end of the pipe 9 is connected to the carburetter.
