Stoppers.-The stopper consists of a cork plug b secured in atop plate a of porcelain &c., and is mounted on a wire f connected below the shoulder g to a second wire h, which is pivoted at h<1> to the bottle neck. The top plate a of the stopper is also formed with a lug e, with which the fastening- clasp c engages when the stopper is in position, the clasp being hinged to the wire h by means of the plate j. The stopper is released by forcing the plate j outwards so as to unhook the clasp c from the lug e.
