Stoppers.-The stopper consists of an ordinary cork o, in which is inserted the end a of the bent wire bridge-piece d, a plate p, which may be fixed to the bridge-piece, preventing the latter from from being pressed into the cork. The eyes i on the bridge-piece are connected by the stirrup b to the eyes u of the ring n encircling the neck. At the other side, the ring n carries the fastening lever g, which hooks over the end of the bridge-piece. When the closure is opened and turned back on the eyes i, s, the stirrup b slides downward through the eyes u, to a position in which the cork can be conveniently replaced by another.
