Abstract

Motor-cars.-A motor vehicle with six or more wheels has the four rear wheels 3, 4 driven by .means of gearing 6 situated between the rear axles, and longitudinal shafts 13, 15 extending fore and aft to their respective axles. The propeller shaft 5 passes above the shaft 13 and drives the shafts 13, 15 by means of the bevel gearing shown in Fig. 3, or differential gearing may be provided between these shafts in the gear-box 6. Differential gearing 14, 16 is preferably provided on the driving axles, but one or both of the axles may be driven without differential gearing.
