1,034,402. Motor vehicle driving gear. COUNTY COMMERCIAL CARS Ltd. April 1, 1965 [April 13, 1964], No. 15189/64. Heading B7H. Engine driven shaft 16 drives the rear wheels of a vehicle through differential 14 and the front wheels through a power take-off mechanism associated with a brake 32, shafts 25 and 28 and differential 31. The power take-off mechanism interconnecting shafts 16 and 25 may comprise bevel gear pairs 17, 18 and 23, 24 and transverse shaft 19 (Fig. 1), or a spur gear train 33, 34, 36 (Fig. 2, not shown), when the brake is mounted on longitudinal shaft 25.
