Rotary cylindrical valves; slide valves, cylindrical.-A sleeve valve for fluid-pressure engines is made very thin so as to be distensible under the pressure of the working-fluid for preventing leakage. Fig. 1 shows the invention applied to a rotary sleeve valve 20 controlling inlet and exhaust. The application to a pair of reciprocating sleeve valves is also described.
