Abstract

184,884. Postgate, W. E. May 21, 1921. Sash and like fastenings, pivoted-arm type. -A substantially circular plate 1 with handle portion 5, eccentrically mounted on a door or window engages a slot in the catch-plate 6, mounted on the door or window jamb and facing the edge of the door so that the fastening screws are inaccessible when the door or window is closed. An additional catch 10 of similar shape to the first can be swung over to engage a slot 12 in the plate 1 and secure it in fastening position.
