Abstract

183,033. O'Brien, T. B. July 11, 1921. Stopper or bail thereon, hinged at one side.-In a bottle or like closure of the kind comprising a two-part band 15 surrounding the neck of the bottle 13 and pivotally connected bv a link 17 to a cap closure 10 which is drawn down on to the top of the bottle by a lever 18 pivoted between lugs on the parts of the band 15 and provided with a hook 19 which engages a link 20 hinged to the cap, the lower end 20a of the link 20 can be moved from the hook 19 on to the lugs of the band 15 towards the bottle neck, so that an upward movement of the lever 18 will not release the closure.
