Abstract
182,681. Trethewey, W. G. June 28, 1921. Tyres, non - elastic. - Tractor wheels comprise a substantially flat disc 1, adapted to be secured to a hub and supporting a series of brackets 6, to the ends of which is secured a ring 5. The brackets are formed from metal plate with a flat 'base 7 which is riveted, bolted, welded, or otherwise secured to the disc and with diverging arms 8 with lugs 10 similiarly secured to the ring. The ring 5 may be flanged as at 4 and a flanged ring 3 may be secured to the periphery of the disc and provide a seating for grippers 14 of angled cross-section, which are secured to the rings by bolting, riveting, or welding. The grippers may, in addition, be provided at one end with lugs 13 which are secured to a radial extension of the ring 3. A rim for use on hard roads is provided by a narrow flange 12 on the part 11.
