Abstract

144,566. Fornaca, G. Dec. 17, 1919. Disk wheels comprise two disks of which the outer one 1 is conical and the inner one 2 is coned in the opposite direction for a substantial distance outwards from the hub, the outer part lying over and being secured to the disk 1 and both disks being bent over at the periphery and secured to the rim. A ring 4 is welded to the central edges of the disks which are spaced by a distance-piece consisting of wooden rings 7. Metal sleeves pass through the distance-piece and are secured to the disks to take the studs for securing the wheel to the hub.
