Liquid-level pressure gauges. - A liquidlevel pressure g a u g e comprises a closed chamber 2, an open v e s s e l 3 arranged above or on a level with the chamber 2, a conduit 4, Fig. 1, or passage 11, Fig. 3, connecting the chamber and vessel and a tube 5 projecting at one end into the chamber 2 and adapted to be connected at its other end to the source of pressure to be measured. The area of the open vessel is large in comparison to that of the tube. The chamber 2, vessel 3, and tube 5 may be supported by a bracket 1, or the bracket 1 and chambers 2, 3 may constitute a single casting as shown in Fig. 3. In a modification, a plurality of tubes 5 adapted to be connected to different media of which the pressure is to be measured project into a common closed chamber which communicates with a vessel arranged at a level about half-way up the tubes 5.
