Abstract

181,858. Dunlop Rubber Co., Ltd., and Keegan, F. J. March 30,1921. Hubs.-In a wheel hub of the kind described in Specification 162,155, the radial flange which is adapted for attachment to the flange of the permanent hub is arranged between the hubends of the spokes and near the plane of the outer edge of the rim. In the construction shown, the wheel-hub comprises flanged rings A<1>, B<1>, the radial webs A, B (connected by welding, riveting, &c.) being apertured for the bolts by which the wheel is detachably secured to the flange D of the permanent hub D<2>. Figs. 1 and 2 show the application of the invention to a rear and front wheel respectively.
