In the form shown in Fig. 1, the pump plunger e draws oil from the reservoir through a pipe f, a channel g in the valve d and a passage h, and delivers during one stroke through the passage h, and groove k in the valve to the pipe y, and during the next delivery stroke through the passage h, groove k, passage m, and channel n in the plunger e to the pipe o leading to the sight-feed. In the form shown in Fig. 2, two coupled pistons e<1>, e<2> reciprocate in barrels i<1>, i<2>, the piston e<1> drawing from the reservoir through a pipe f, channel g in the valve d, and passage h', and delivering through the passage h<1>, groove k<1> in the valve, and passage m to the sight-feed, while the piston 6<2> draws from the sight-feed through a pipe U, channel v, groove k<2> in the valve, and passage h<2>, and delivers through the passage h<2>, groove k<2>, and pipe y to the part to be lubricated.
