180,115. Garner, H., Garner, J. P., and Smith, S. March 15, 1921. Vehicle windows.-A vehicle window is made of flexible material such as celluloid, and is arranged to slide in curved guides. The edges of the celluloid 1 are framed with leather 2 and the side edges are further provided with flexible steel strips 3; an additional steel strip 8 may be arranged centrally to prevent buckling. At rightangles to the direction of its motion, the window is provided with metal strips 4, 5 of V or channel section to give rigidity. Compressible contact by means of springs, felt, or the like provides the necessary air-tight connection between the channel-section guides and the window.
