Abstract

367,623. Window frames. REID, J. S., 14122, South Park Boulevard, Shaker Heights, Ohio, U.S.A. April 17, 1931, No. 11485. [Class 20 (iii).] A channel guide for sliding windows of automobiles has separate finishing strips 8 of brass, aluminium or the like covering the padded edges of the side members. The strips may consist of tongued members engaged in recessed or T-shaped slots 7 and holding a ropelike or other pad 10 to bear on the edge of the glass. The side members 5 may be connected to a padded base 1 of inexpensive metal by turnedover edges 2 and subsequently shaped as shown in Fig. 1.
