[Class 20 (iii).] The channel strip a, Fig. 3, mounted within the rigid frame d of a fixed or sliding window e, is composed of sponge rubber. The strip is partially, or, as shown, wholly covered with felt c or a similar material. The sides b of the strip, before the insertion of the latter in the frame, may be parallel or may diverge towards their free ends. When two or more sliding windows are mounted, within the same frame the strip is formed with two or more parallel grooves.
