Window frames.-The channel guides A of a sliding vehicle or other window are lined with a rubber &c. strip C, which is held in the guide by its own resiliency. 'The edges of the channel may be turned over at right-angles or curved inwardly to engage the edge of the rubber &c. The back of the channel may be indented to provide projections E to engage the lining. The rubber &c. may be covered with a layer of velvet D.
