Abstract
176,266. Gibbons, F. J. J. April 25, 1921. Stays.-A window sash a hung as a fanlight has its opening movement limited by a pin on bracket arm h slidable in a slotted arm d pivoted to the window frame, the members being gated at e with a side plate f bridging the slot. This permits the pin and head c to be disengaged from the stay when it is desired to lower the window, without detaching the pin from its bracket. When the window is opened to the limit permitted by the stay arm, the bracket engages a side lug g on the stay arm, instead of the stem of the pin engaging with the end of the slot.
