172,199. Leadbeater, J. W. Nov. 2. 1920. Materials for making coke and other products. -Metallurgical coke is obtained by pulverizing or disintegrating the black or lower or more dense strata of peat in their natural moist state and mixing the product with ground pitch or with refined tar and with small coal, the resultant mixture being carbonized at a temperature of from about 1000‹ to 1500‹ F.
