Working-fluid supply.-In an internal combustion turbine, the explosion chambers d are arranged in a stationary member between the turbine wheel e and a ring b rotating therewith. A fan a. geared to rotate at twice the speed of the turbine wheel delivers the explosive mixture to the chamber d through opposite parts in the ring b, which is given a varying thickness as shown to provide expanding delivery passages 5, 15. Sparking-plugs m, n carried by the turbine wheel register with successive orifices in the stationarv chamber d. The walls of the turbine wheel and the combustion chamber may be fitted with ribs for cooling.
