Abstract

Working-fluid supply.-An internal-combustion turbine comprises a number of combustion cham. bers D each supplied with a regulated quantity of air and fuel from its own pumps T, U and spaced round a turbine rotor A to which the gases are delivered through nozzles L. To reduce the temperature of the gases, water may be injected at any of the points N, N<1>, O, K, K<1>. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 6422/03, 13199/03, 6570/04, 10204/05, 27076/08, 4090/10 and 15244/12.
