204,382. Hesselman, K. J. E. June 27, 1922. Valves.-In engines provided with means to cause rotation of the air within the combustion chamber, a semicircular shield 8 on the head of the air-admission valve causes the air to enter in a tangential direction, thus setting up the required rotation.
