Urns.-In a coffee percolator of the type comprising an earthenware receptacle d fitting into a metal casing c inside a boiler a from which the water is forced by steam pressure up a pipe g into an extraction chamber e, the extraction chamber containing a strainer f which holds the coffee, is mounted on top of the boiler so as to be easily detachable. The coffee passes from the chamber e to the receptacle d through a cock k operated by means of a handle i. The pipe g is provided with a screw coupling h which can be readily disconnected when the chamber e is to be removed.
