Abstract

324,920. Hashimoto, T. Nov. 5, 1928. Safety valves.-A steam cooker, in which steam is used under pressure, is provided with a lid having a weighted knob which functions as a safety valve. The knob is formed with a hollow stem 26 which engages with a tubular extension 25 in the lid by a bayonet joint 31, 30, the knob being turned so that the pin 31 lies in the vertical slot 30 when the knob is to act as a.safety valve.
