Abstract
165,591. Constantinesco, G. April 27, 1920. Horns, construction of and fluid supply for.-In motorcar &c. horns operated by the suction of the engine &c., there is fitted, between the horn and the main supply to the engine, a regulator d comprising a diaphragm e which moves in to throttle the volume of air through the horn when the suction is above normal and moves out as the suction falls. The whole device can be fitted to internal-combustion engines or to steam-condensing plants as a supplement, or it may be fitted for sound-protection purposes only. When applied to an internalcombustion engine, a by-pass n leading to a carburettor o may be fitted to keep the mixture right.
