Hand-grip wrenches; nailextractors; screwdrivers.-In pliers of the kind in which the handles 1 are provided with polygonal openings 10 to receive correspondingly-shaped bosses 9 on the jaw members 3 to allow the jaws to be adjusted relatively to the handles, the parts are connected by a clamping and pivot bolt 12 having a head 16 and nut 17 bearing against the bosses and the adjacent parts of the handles. The bolt 12 is formed with a cylindrical part 11 and a square, hexagonal or other polygonal part 14 engaging corresponding bores in the jaw members. The jaws are formed with flat and concave toothed parts 6, 7 respectively cutting-nippers 4 and wire cutting notches 8. The ends of the handles may be formed as a screwdriver and a tack extractor.
