Abstract

160,873. lonides, A. C. Nov. 13, 1919. Pressure-regulating valves.-A valve device for maintaining a constant pressure relationship between two fluids comprises two chambers each provided with a double beat valve actuated by a displacer or float partly immersed in a single U- tube connected to the two chambers. Each double-beat valve is suspended by a flexible member from arcs d' formed on levers d having second arcs d<2> from which actuating members g are suspended. The actuating-members are made of a material having a higher specific gravity than the liquid in which they are immersed and operate with easy clearance in the limbs f<1> of the U-tube. According to the Provisional Specification, the apparatus may be modified for use as a pressure gauge, or meter.
