159,230. Fagard, J. April 15, 1919. Addition to 105,309. Spray carburettors. - In carburettors having a fuel well 4 open to the atmosphere, and communicating through a restricted orifice 6, with the fuel passage between the float chamber and the main jet 1, an auxiliary jet 13 being supplied for slow running from the well through an upstanding tube, the top of the tube extends beyond the normal fuel level, the tube being filled by a hole 10 in the side of the tube.. The auxiliary jet goes out of action as the suction on the main jet is increased. A starting-jet 15 dips into the well, the bottom of this jet being above the hole in the tube.
