Manually-actuated multiple-way valves.-A trycock for a steam boiler comprises a fitting a screwed into the boiler and closed at its lower end by a plug d. A tube e projects at right-angles and carries a valve spindle f having two valve faces g, h. When the valve g is opened, water or steam escapes to the outlet i, thus giving an indication of the water-level. When the valve h is closed, the plug d may be removed, and the valve h may then be opened to clear the channel c.
