Coating-machines.-A device for stripping sheets of paper or other material from gumming-rollers &c. comprises an arm or holder 9 mounted on a pivot 10, a guide 11 fixed to the arm and adapted to direct the sheets 7 stripped from the roller 5, and a pick-off blade 12 adjustably secured to the arm, for example by means of a set-screw 16, so that after re-sharpening the blade it can be secured in definite relation to the guide 11.
