Abstract

366,313. Bevelling cardboard. LYON, Ltd. and LYON, A., 395, Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow. March 4, 1931, No. 6689. [Class 31 (i).] Traversing - c u t t e r machines.-In a machine for bevelling cardboard the card 23a is placed upon a table 6 and clamped by a' treadle operated bar 8 secured to the side of the table to a guide bar 13 along which can slide a carriage 14 carrying a blade holder mounted by an adjustable knuckle joint 16. The holder carries a thin razor blade 27 which bridges a gap 25. The blade may be adjusted in its own plane or about the joint 16.
