Abstract

252,563. Forbes, J. July 8, 1925. Stationary-cutter apparatus. - A web fed by rollers 2 is cut into longitudinal strips by stationary cutter blades 6 adjustably mounted on a transversely movable bar 7 carrying also an adjustable guide member 9. As the web is fed the operator manipulates a pivoted lever 10 to keep the guide member 9 on the edge of the material or on a pattern mark.
