Abstract
1529858 Granulating metals INCO EUROPE Ltd 16 Dec 1975 [17 Dec 1974] 51365/75 Heading C7X Molten metal (superalloys) is atomized by jets of gas (argon, helium, oxygen, air, carbon monoxide, nitrogen) having an exit velocity of at least Mach 1 and striking the molten metal stream at at least two points one below the other, the included angle of the first jet being not greater than 30 degrees and the other at least 2 degrees less.
