Abstract

152,523. Jones, C. W., and Sevan, H., (trading as Lowe, Bevan, & Co.). Oct. 24, 1919. Seat adjustments.-An angularly adjustable seat is hinged at its rear 3, and is supported by members 6, 5, the lower end of the member 6 being longitudinally displaceable, as by means of a nut 8 and screw 14. Angle members 4, 11 may be provided on the support 1 and seat 2 respectively, and when the members 5, 6 are arranged in pairs, the screwed rod 9 may be arranged centrally to engage a bolt 8 in a transverse rod 7. Any known form of double hinge may be employed at 3, while the whole seat may be mounted on a movable support constructed in accordance with Specification 29014/13.
