Tripod stands.-A portable stool or seat comprises a crown c to which legs d are pivoted, a vertically adjustable seat pillar b and a seat, consisting of two hinged flaps a, and capable of rotation on the pillar b. A nut f on the crown c may be screwed down to engage flats on the pivoted end of the legs, to hold them in extended position.
