Pedestal and like stands. - A telescopic upright for music stands, stools, &c. is held in adjustable position in the pedestal by catches arranged so as to leave the upright free to rotate. The pivoted spring catches e are mounted in a bush i and may be released by pressbuttons l from engagement with notches between washers p and sections o of the telescopic upright. The sections o and a block n are threaded on a bolt q as shown.
