Supports attached to cycles. - Bicycle supports of the type in which legs are pivoted to a sliding telescopic member in such a way as to be opened out into the operative position by a spring when the sliding member is depressed, comprise a casing f of square cross-section fitted with a sliding sleeve d, to which the supporting-legs i are pivoted at k, their tapered upper ends being acted upon a wedge m and a spring, o so as to separate the legs when a rod a is depressed. The casing f is secured to the chain stays &c. of the cycle by clamping-plates g, c, a bolt e, and an angular nut member b. The rod a is retained in its raised inoperative position by the engagement of an eye n with a hook pivoted to a clip on the seat pillar. In order to prevent unauthorized use of the cycle, the support is locked in the operative position by a padlock engaging the eye n and a hole b<1> in the nut member b.
