Abstract

Stands for hand-irons comprise a base made of a single rod a, Fig. 1, bent to conform with the plan of the iron, and having one of its ends continued as an upright b, bent rectangularly at d to receive the handle, and supported by a cranked continuation c of the other end. In a modification, Fig. 4, the upright i is formed with eyes k threaded on a turned-up portion h of the base ring g so that the upright may be folded down when not in use. The ends k of the upright form abutment members as shown when the device is in effective position.
