524,889. Tables. WALES, Ltd., and ADIE, B. Feb. 10, 1939, No. 4377. [Class 52 (iii)] In a bedside table &c. of the kind comprising a table &c. 4 slidably and rotatably mounted on a horizontal arm 7 carried by a standard 8, a lever 16 is pivoted to the underside of the table &c. and engages the end 7d of the arm 7 so as to move the table, against the action of a spring 11, along the arm 7 to face the table for angular adjustment. In the construction shown , the table is held in the desired angular position by a pin 10a carried by the arm 7 engaging one of a series of holes in a bracket 6 secured to the table &c. The loading of the spring can be adjusted by a cotter pin 13.
