Abstract

278,866. Simmon, H. Sept. 17, 1926. Shelves.-An extension bracket for shelves &c. comprises a bar h, Fig. 1 (shown applied to a table), slidably carried in a keeper b of channel section secured to the underside of the shelf &c. The bar h is united in outward movement by a right angled projection j, Fig. 3. A lug i at the outer end of the bar b to retain a leaf. Resilient means h, Fig. 3, may be provided within the keeper for steadying the bar. A coverplate may be used above the keeper h. A coil spring may be provided to withdraw the bar h beneath the shelf &c.
