456,391. Seats combined with tables. ABRAMS, M., 66, Port Street, Manchester. Dec. 7, 1935, No. 33932. [Classes 52 (iii) and 52 (v)] Arm-chairs are provided with flaps 12 normally housed in an arm or arms but drawn out and turned into a position of use when required. In one form, the supporting spindle 7 is mainly of square crosssection but has cylindrical portions 9 so that in certain positions it can turn. In another form, Fig. 6, the rod 19 has a pin 24 across it which can be turned into or out of register with slots in parts 25, 26. The invention consists in tapering the portions 9 or in rounding off the edges of the parts 25, 26 so as to facilitate adjustment. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 177,338, [Class 52 (iii)].
